Accessibility

Due to the historical architecture of Windsor town centre, our Shop & Factory is
homed in a listed building that can create issues for our customers, particularly
when it comes to disabled access to all areas of our facility. Many older
properties aren’t equipped to accommodate accessibility features like lifts,
making it difficult to cater to those who are disabled. However, with all
permissions in our power to made everything possible to make our building more
accessible.
Guests in wheelchairs are able to access the ground floor of our Chocolate
Factory. Stairs are used to access all floors and with the greatest sadness there
is no accessible toilet available, as it is located on the first floor.
Guests should be aware that there are a number of steps within the experience,
these are used for 1st floor Café area, however there is a heated garden available
for those who cannot use stairs.
Dogs are not permitted into the Workshop due to Health & Safety regulations;
this includes assistant dogs as well.
Guests who have allergies are warned that the chocolate products which we
make in the Workshops are produced in an environment where nuts may be
present. Nut free, dairy free, sugar free and gluten free chocolate is available on
request, just ask our Team for details.
The majority of guests will stand throughout the workshop however there are a
number of chairs in each room which are available for those guests who need
them. Guests are advised to make the Team aware at the start of any issues with
standing.
Children from 2 years of age are welcome, however at busy periods buggies may
not be kept in the covered garden area throughout the workshop.
